I’ve two primary expressions of creativity. Brush and Pen. I can’t do one without the other.
When I pick up a brush my goal is to paint energy. I’ve been told that I paint spirit. Regardless, I’m always curious as to what will emerge from my brush… My paintings are representative to abstract and, upon a rare occasion, a mild bit of realistic. The colors are how I see and feel them as this is how the world looks to my eyes.
When I pick up a pen my goal is to share some thoughts in hope that I may connect with another in a positive way…maybe even in a transformative way.
At the end of the day, be it brush or pen, I feel compelled to create. If there is a connection with another because of this I am delighted.
